Wastewater Outfall Extension

The City of Viroqua is constructing a 2 mile extension to the treated effluent outfall of the wastewater treatment plant. This $2 Million pipeline will run along County B from the wastewater treatment facility to Miller Road near Springville. Construction is expected to take place from April to July 2018.

Project Update – April 19th

This week the contractor, Rule Construction, continued installing pipe on the private property. Due to weather, they were only able to install pipe on Tuesday. Total pipe installed to date is more than 400 ft. With the dry weather expected over the weekend, construction should resume on Monday. Rule plans to continue laying pipe towards the wastewater treatment facility for the remainder of the week.

Relocating the fiber optic line has been delayed due to frost.

No impact to traffic is expected on County B next week.
