Youth Initiative High School
The Youth Initiative High School was founded in 1996 by a group of high school students in rural Viroqua, Wisconsin. YIHS provides Waldorf-inspired education for grades 9 - 12. Waldorf education is based on the teachings of Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner (1861 - 1925). Today, Waldorf schools exist on all continents, with over 700 schools worldwide.
