Solstice Journey: Forest, Cave, Sea

The Operating Theater, part of The Commons Community and Arts Center, is presenting an original performance called “Solstice Journey: Forest, Cave, Sea.” It will be a voyage into our primitive landscape, with live musical accompaniment, exploring how ancient people marked the solstice in their forest, or cave, or seashore. An imagining of our ancestors as they experienced the longest night and rebirth into the expanding light. This hour-long performance starts at 7:00 pm, doors open at 6:30, at 401 E. Jefferson, Viroqua. Admission is a free-will donation.
