Library Construction

Our new public library for the City of Viroqua is complete and the doors opened to the public on February 22, 2016. Thanks to land gifted to the City by Gundersen Health System, the new library has been constructed in downtown Viroqua at the corner of Rock and Jefferson Streets. In partnership with Western Technical College, we share a common lobby space that physically connects the Technical College building to our new public library building. With 14,000 square feet of space, the new library building doubles the size of our existing structure.  This 3.6 million dollar project has been funded through private gifts and grants. We encourage you to make a monetary gift by printing off our pledge form and sending your contribution to the Viroqua Area Foundation.

Please consider making a pledge to contribute to the library campaign.
