Water & Sewer
Viroqua Utilities provide water, sewer and fire protection services to 1,675 Residential, 27 Multi-Family and 275 Commercial/Industrial customers with the population of over 4,300 in the City of Viroqua. Our employees receive updated, professional training on a continuing basis so we can better serve our customers.
A self-funded entity, Viroqua Utilities receives no tax dollars to support its system and operates under the rates and tariffs on water use, sewer use and fire protection. Water and fire protection rates and tariffs are established by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) and the accounting records are maintained in accordance with the Uniform System of Accounts prescribed by the PSCW. The utility is governed by City Ordinances.
