City Council approves new ward maps

At the City Council meeting on November 9th the City Council approved the second reading of ordinance 21OR005 which establishes the new wards following the 2020 census for the City of Viroqua.  The ordinance below explains the new ward boundaries along with the map.  The new wards will be in affect for the 2022 elections and going forward.

Spring Primary Election Notice & Polling Location

Notice is hereby given that a primary election will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 for electors in all wards.   

Polling Location for all wards is the new City Hall lower community room, 124 W Decker St Viroqua, WI

Polling Hours = 7:00 am – 8:00pm

Early absentee voting is occurring  Tuesday, February 7th through Friday, February 17th during business hours of 8:00 am and 4:00pm Monday-Friday in the upstairs City Hall lobby area.  Photo ids are required to vote.   To request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you, please visit myvote.wi.gov for more details.

Parking is limited and may be busy at times so please be patient during times of high voter turnout with the potential to wait in line.
